Dragon figure at the Naga snake
The dragon image at the Naga snake at Wat Sirindhorn Wararam in Ubon Ratchathani.
The mythical creatures are believed to be protectors of Buddhism, and are often placed on staircase rails that lead to sacred Buddhist establishments.
Its is located in Chong Mek Sub District on the top of Phu Phrao. Furthermore, with this temple being located on a mountain, it has become a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the reservoir and the Chong Mek permanent border crossing point to Laos.
