Demons appear on the performance of the fight between Barong and Rangda
While Indonesia as a whole is a predominantly Muslim country the situation is completely different with Bali.
Over 92 percent of the Balinese are of the Hindu faith, although the way they live it is significantly different than in India. There is also a deeply rooted belief in ghosts and demons. As soon as I have dealt with this a little, I experience first hand how this belief can be expressed.
My photo was shot during our tour on Bali in 2001 and scanned with a NIKON CoolScan.
