Even "traveling light," as I was on this hot summer's day on the National Mall in Washington, with my 1950s Brownie Hawkeye box camera, by the time I had shot all 12 (!) exposures on this roll of film, some popcorn, washed down by something cold and wet, would have tasted so-o-o good.
But, alas, by this time, the kettle wagon had closed for the day.
For this roll, the trusty Brownie was viewing the world through a "reversed" lens, hence the dreamy effect.
The photo was made on Kodak T-Max 400 black and white film. It is available in archival gallery prints and as a custom printed Photo Note Card. Essence of buttered popcorn, extra.
