Beach in Dreamland on Nusa Dua
Uluwatu's beach or Dreamland is considered one of Bali's best surfing spots, attracting surfers from all over the world. Uluwatu has, in recent years become equally known as the site of the renowned surf break. Even if I'm not a surfer, Uluwatu always is on my itinerary to visit as there are spectacular views from the warungs (restaurants) perched on the cliff.
Unfortunately Dreamland is getting a mass tourist place and a business area for many apartments buildings and hotels. Beautiful time at this place will soon have gone and never comes again.

...schön zu sehen....und vor solchen Wellen wie ich sie dort vorne sehe habe ich allergrößten Respekt....erlebt hab ich es ähnlich am weissen Sandstrand...vielleicht kennst Du den....VLG Benita

danke @Ezzthers, doch gibt es auf Bali wunderschöne Ecken, wo man sich den ganzen Massentrubel vollkommen entziehen kann. Trotz der negativen Entwicklung ist die Insel immer noch das Ziel, das ich seit 36 Jahren regelmäßig bereise. Meine Freundschaften halten ein Leben lang. Gruß WolfgangEzzthers Sunday 27/01/2014 7:44
Ja, stimmt, ich war 1995 auf Bali und vor 2 Jahren wieder, da hat sich in der Zwischenzeit sehr viel verändert. Allein schon die Massen an Autos und Motorbikes auf dem Straßen. Die Insel platzt bald aus allen Nähten glaube ich.
