Batfish over the coral reef
A round-headed batfish that came very close to us and liked to be photographed.
This Platax, as it is called here in Asia, was a particularly large one with a length of approximately 20 cm. Underwater, a fish seems a third larger and closer, so you can easily misjudge, because the light enters from the water through the glass of the diving mask in the air space, which is located between the diving mask and eyes. In this way, the visibility under water is greatly changed
