At the pyramids
Not posing but pausing.
Having a smoke at the foot of a pyramid.
He is actually sheltering from a chilling desert wind that was relentlessly blowing around the pyramids. I regret that I missed that split second he was looking at me !
I took all these photos with range metering, i.e. by setting the focus on a my target distance, while narrowing the aperture (to increase the focus range).
