    I think that by adding more depth of field to keep the jewelry sharp would have also increased the detail in the background and lessened the impact of her eyes and tatoos - which for me, make the shot. Still Pro.

    @Dennis: "horizon" in that case is rather meant to be a figure of speech than a solid object such as sharp jewelry. Don´t take it to serious !

    I dont understand what people mean the horizon isnt straight with portraits like this, or backgrounds that are made by hand with running paint from top to button.

    i think horizons should be judged on landscapes rather than portraits.

    Her expression is pretty cool, her pose too.
    Would have liked it even more if her jewelry was sharp too.
