Leider führt dieser Krötenknäuel unweigerlich zum Tod des innen sitzenden Weibchens, denn es kann nicht atmen, während sich der Klumpen im Wasser dreht, sodass die außen sitznden Männchen atmen können erstickt das Weibchen innen. Ich hole jedes Jahr mehrere Knäuel dieser Art aus meinem Teich und rette das Krötenweibchen.VG Andreas
