A villa by the sea in Vila Franca, Azores
The location for ALL top 10 places to stay in the Azores has three things in common: oceanfront and green grounds in a wind protected south coast (or in other words: either between Caloura and Povoação in São Miguel island or at Praia Formosa in Santa Maria island).
Among them the most urban location as well as the one with the smallest green grounds is "A Villa by the Sea", the only absolute oceanfront lodging in a photo where banana plantations and pineapple greenhouses are also visible at the upper left.
