Seguendo le tracce di antichi esploratori... un incipit perfetto per un libro con in copertina questa foto. Chiari e scuri lungo i solchi delle pendici, tutto concorre ad una atmosfera da montagna, altissima, irragiungibile.
E invece l' obiettivo coglie pezzi di realtà e la trasfigura, presentandoci il mondo quale è quello che si vorrebbe, nella sua versione priva di riferimenti e proporzioni.
Grande gioco di prestigio, bellissima illusione.
