Have a look at www.amazinginternet.com a web site company that have packages designed specifically for photographers ... i think the mainly concentrate on creating and hosting web sites but i seem to recall they also provide stand alone cart facilities that work on your own web site.
Good luck

Question for Webmasters of FC

I understand what you mean, but a reload means, that the photo
is different and the old comments are still there (for the old
photo). We think this is to much confusing for most of the
users. The reference will be gone away and maybe the new photo
is totally different from the old one. Think about the
strangest form: You wrote a positive comment for a photo with a
potrait and the next day, you´ll find your comment under a
landscape photo.
I'm afraid you pay too much attention to that thing: different photo or the old one. I'm stiil the member of a Russian community which allows the reloading and still has never seen, that someone has replaced the portrait with the landscape. But it's very important for the author, after receiving right criticisms, to improve the photo and reload it.

Looking for Photographers
Elaine Liebenbaum
27.11.04, 12:18
We got this mail in support. Some of you may be interested in this project. So check it out.
===========================================================
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Daniel Crowder and I am a photographer from Goshen, Indiana. I work with a nonprofit homeless shelter called Faith Mission of Elkhart. I organized a photography auction with all proceeds to go to Faith Mission.
I am looking for photographers you may know that would want to get involved. Marc Hauser, Agnes Donnadieu, Jack Perno and Jason Bell have all donated pieces. I have an itemized, noncash, tax receipt that artists can fill out for a nice tax break, since we are nonprofit.
The auction takes place on Friday, December 17, 2004 at the Goshen Theater, in downtown Goshen, Indiana. The event is from 5pm to 9pm. All of the money made at the auction goes directly to Elkhart Faith Mission.
Elkhart Faith Mission is more than just a homeless shelter. Since 1956, Faith Mission has been reaching out to the homeless, hungry and hurting of Elkhart County and surrounding areas. Faith Mission is an interdenominational Christian social service agency that provides food, shelter, clothing and other services for needy individuals.
Its a safe place for victims of domestic violence to seek shelter for themselves and their children. Its a place where the mentally ill can seek refuge and get help. Its a place where people in bondage of alcohol and drugs can learn to kick the habit. Most of all, Faith Mission is a place that helps people rebuild their lives.
Thank you for taking the time to read my email. I would be very grateful to have a great organization such as yourself helping our small-town charity. The people at my organization would be very excited about your involvement.
Here is a link to the auction website if you are curious about what this is all about: www.faithmissionauction.com
