it was a disappointment to find the famous Alexandria Library closed ... books in a street stall not quite a replacement for the library ...

And,definitely Adele, neither the new Library is quite a replacement of the famous ancient one built by Ptolemy the successor of Alexander the Great and burnt down...World continues....

Photo lively and very interesting.
A pity find enclosed the famous library, but I adore these scuffed stalls where you can find a good book on the cheap.

no, not a replacement! but you photographed the stalls beautifully! they make a colorful motif, and the composition with its view around the corner – great! it conveys a very lively and authentic mood. the reading vendor – daily news, i suppose… – makes it look especially dynamic and contemporary! hugs, sabine.

From the city of the first great library we get this wonderful street book store. Good details and light control. Looks like a place I would like to browse for a while, if I could read them.
