A variation of a well known thread ....

Choose your favourite photo out of the portfolio of a newcomer to fc.com or someone you feel has great potential and post it here.

Give a reason for choosing the photo. Don't forget to let the person know you have nominated their photo:-)

To post a picture here just copy the photo number which can be found in brackets under each photo.

Not a newbie, but he has got a good portifolio of IR photography.

This one is a typical example of b/w IR: strong Wood-effect, dark sky and a touch of mystic.

well ... i wrote a comment to benita's photo, made her aware of this thread, invided her to join in and go on with another user, but of course i selected a photo on my own as well:
