My top photos
About me
I started enjoying photography more and more during the last years. After I felt really limited by my old Sony DSC-P1 I finally invested into a Nikon D80. It's no comparison to the old one, but the main thing: much more fun to use! Let's see if I will ever reach the limits of this camera, too... :-)
But on the other hand, it's not only the equipment that matters, so I always try to get a better feeling for the right moment, perspective and lighting.
I also hope to learn more about image processing in the next time, up to now I mainly use the basic functionalities, but still have to learn a lot about the most important filters and layer techniques...
I want to emphasize that I really want to learn, so any honest comments are appreciated - praise I hope of course, but even more hints on how to improve my pictures!

Hi mein Herz!Habe dein Bilder wieder mal durchgeschaut und ein paar entdeckt, die ich noch nicht kenne.... :-)
Bin natuerlich in erster Linie mal generell ein Fan von den 'Bio-' Bildern wie zum beispiel 'network of life' fuer mich immer wieder sehr ergreifend.
Aber mein momentaner favourit is 'UnterIn' seeehr geile Idee und meiner laienhaften Meinung nach total gelungen. Weiss schon, was mein naechster Bilschirmhintergrund wird ;-)
Hab mich allerdings auch gefreut meinen Aberdeener "Leutturm" und die Highlands wieder zu finden... habe von dem Trip immer noch nicht alle Bilder zu Gesicht bekommen. Muessen wir mal nachholen!

thank you for your feedback, very well said! it sounds like you and i are very similar in our photographic backgrounds and where we are artistically. i think its great that you are out there shooting and learning how to manipulate your environment and equipment as best you can. whoever says they arent doing that is lying to themselves. best of luck! Hallo Timm,Danke für deine nette Anmerkung zu meinem Shikhov oilplatform Bild. Es freut mich das dieses Bild dir gefällt. Aber naturlich kannst du diese von der Küste beobachten,dieses Öl Platform ist schon lange lange Zeit operationel,sondern da gibt es reparationen wegen die Sturmen in Kaspisches Mehr.Es gibt es gefährliche Wogen (bölja), diese können circa 12 metter hinaufsteigen. Es ist nicht das einzige Öl Platform, in der nähe von Oil rocks (Stadt mitten in Kaspisches Mehr), gibt es zwei größe.Es ist das Land wo Skandinavische Vorfahren entstanden haben.

Hi there, a little bit to late but here it is, my answer to your comment on "The storm" shot. 10x a lot for your detailed impresions about my picture, I really apreciate it. About the frame, ....all I can say is that the original shot, with no PP and no frame is very poor, with nothing special. The frame creates an athmosphere to this shot, something that it was not there before.10x again and I`m looking foreward to see more shots from you.

hallo timm,vielen dank für deine anmerkungen ;-)
auf dem sachsenring kann man fahrsicherheitstrainings machen, macht echt spaß und bringt einem das auto noch näher. da klappt es dann auch mit ner 330 auf dem tacho heimwärts (bei freier 3-spuriger autobahn versteht sich)
