About me

I've done every kind of photography, but people and nature are still my favorites.

Started photography with a cheap plastic camera on the age of 12.
I've had since then a Lubitel, a few Praktica's, a Pentax ME Super, a Nikon 801 and several digital point & shoot camera's.
I'm 56 now and I've had a b&w darkroom and a color darkroom.

The best part of my Nikon D5000 is it's hinged display. When I wanted to upgrade, I considered a D90 or a D7000, but I chose the D5100 because of it's display. I could also afford a D5200, but even though I don't make movies a lot, the extra wobble due to it's larger pixel count threw me off.
I've learned to live with the settings that are buried in menu's which is inevitable and a a minus when compared to a D0000 or even a D90.
