Hello, my name is Rob from the USA. Been taking photos off and on since the 60's. My last film camera(s) before finally going digital in 2008 was a pair of Canon A1's bought new in 1980. (One is still in mint condition.) I still shoot some film using a Nikon F5, Nikon FA (my favorite), Nikon N90 or Pentax Spotmatic II.
More often I shoot digital with my Nikon D40x. Post processing is done in Adobe Photoshop PS3, and Oloneo Photo Engine (HDR) which does a fantastic job of recovering lost highlight detail which can still be a problem when comparing digital with film capture. DxO Labs Software is excellent for correcting for lens distortion, softness, chroma, etc. Last but definitely not least is software from OptikVerve Labs which is available free from their website and does so many things so well.
