About me

Hi Fotocommunity. I'm Lee Wilkins from the UK. i live in the Midlands, in a place called Coventry. I have studied Photography from a BTEC level through to BA(Hons) where i finished with a 2:1 and also received the "Sandvik Award for Excellence in Photography"

I have had a Gallery Show along side a national tour by the "Imperial War Museum" to remember WWII. i did portraits from Crews on a Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire Pilots, Japanese Prisoner War, D-Day Vets and a like.

I do weddings which i enjoy, i also do on location portraits. i am just as relax on one shoot as i am with the next.

I also like music and did cover a mini festival, which i really got a buz out of. i will try to get some more of that work.

I still use film but do work Digital.

My ambition is to try and work in the editorial side. would like to be freelance for a Magazine or something along that side, while still doing my own projects.

my Web site is being built so please pop along when done. we be letting you all know when.

Good to see you found this place, where professionals, amateurs and rookies meet to share their views of photography, show and discuss each others work.
I hope you'll find the things you were looking for when you joined and have the same fun I have since I became a member.
Don't hesitate to ask me or any other member of the team if you have any questions!

When I thought about making it easier for new members to join our community, I had the idea to write a short tutorial which might help. You can find it here:

You might also want to gather some information in our online-help. There you can learn about the different features of fotocommunity.
