About me
I have been taking photographs for over 25 years ever since my teenage years. Throughout this long apprenticeship I have remained a keen amateur with my main interest being in nature photography. However more recently, after re-discovering my local camera club, my photographic interests have widened and I point my camera lens towards landscapes and even people.
I live in the North East of England and am lucky to have some fine locations close to my door such as Lake Distrcit, Yorkshire Dales and the moorlands of Durham.
I was a committed Pentax user using both Digital and 35mm SLRs, however following a swim whilst trying to cross a river I have now had to change to Canon (hopefully they prove more waterproof!).
