Capt. Howie is a truly free spirited product of the 60's counterculture. He is a Master Captain with the U.S. Coast Guard and has maintained a 100 ton license for over 20 years, skippering traditional sailing vessels in the Hawaiian Islands. Capt. Howie is also a world renowned scholar of philosophy and religion and has lectured extensively worldwide on "Divine Love" and "Sacred Commitments". Capt. Howie has been performing weddings in tropical paradises for over 33 years. Capt. Howie began studying photo-journalistic photography back in the 60's while in college. His style has been very much influenced by his love of the tropics and people.
