Un tempo usciva con centinaia di capre e pecore, ora a 87 anni solo un paio di decine. Non può farne a meno è la sua vita!
He used to go out with hundreds of goats and sheep, now at 87 only a couple of dozen. He can't help it, it's his life!

Früher ging er mit Hunderten von Ziegen und Schafen aus, jetzt mit 87 Jahren nur noch ein paar Dutzend. Kann nicht ohne es ist sein Leben!
Il avait l'habitude de sortir avec des centaines de chèvres et de moutons, maintenant à 87 ans seulement quelques dizaines. Impossible de s'en passer c'est sa vie !

Das Lebenswerte einer Aufgabe und täglichen Routine spiegelt sich im lächelnden Angesicht wider. Sich selbst gebraucht fühlen, zu wissen, was man kann, auch im höheren Alter, stärkt die Lebensgeister und hält beweglich. Allein übertriebener Ehrgeiz ist gewichen! Was für eine Wohltat!Il valore della vita di un compito e della routine quotidiana si riflette nel volto sorridente. Sentirsi necessari, sapere cosa si può fare, anche in età avanzata, rafforza lo spirito e mantiene la flessibilità. Solo l'ambizione eccessiva ha ceduto! Che sollievo!
