Xiangshan Visitor Center @ Taiwan

Located in the other side of the Lalu (涵碧樓, one of the most luxury hotels) of Sun Moon Lake, Xiangshan Visitor Center was finished in 2010 and designed by Dan Norihiko, who is also in charge of rebuild of Taoyuan International Airport. Xiangshan Visitor Center (向山遊客中心) is composed by two curved buildings. It is surrounded by water, lawn, and concrete. In order to avoid blocking the sight of the lake, 34 meters long and 8 meters high ceiling construction stretching like human arms embracing the earth enable visitors to overlook and appreciate the beauty of Sun Moon Lake. These features make here a peaceful landscape.
