Located in the rainforest in Malaysian Borneo.
Quite a rare sighting according to the locals. Such a privilege to get up close observe them!!

wow! what a beautiful and lucky capture! must have felt great to get a glimpse of a pygmy elephant in his natural habitat! i just love the gentle look of his eye! kind regards, sabine. p.s. my zoo elephant says hi ; ))
