Hi Simply SvenThanks for the comment and your observations, yes I agree with your view about the status of Birds in the Maldives.
Being a Maldivian I am ashamed to say that we do not think enough about our animal habitat. Day by day they are pushed out of our lives. This bird was sitting on the roof of a luxurious cottage where the guest was paying hundreds of US $, Why can’t we spend a few of our earnings to help our birds? Wish you are very happy 2008

Hi there, really nice photos, those ones to think about also or better, especially those ones to think about...But I`ve chosen this one to leave a note, because one of this nice birds crossed my way daily in the morning and in the evening and I really like them :-)
So thats how it is on the Maledives, 1200 islands, and so much tourists that birds just got problems to find a free place, don`t believe, have a look ;-) :
