The long exposure time has a good impact due to create a balanced lighting and to emphasize the moving clouds.I thing you were standing too close to the main motive to avoid the distortion, which looks unnatural that way. I suggest to step back, take the picture and straighten it afterwards in a photo software. The distance would offer a crop without cutting the top of the lighthouse.
