Von den verschiedenen Namen ( Espenrotkappe, Weißstielige Rotkappe, Rothäubchen, Pappelrotkappe, Laubwaldrotkappe) passt eigentlich am Besten "Weißstielige Rotkappe" oder nach dem Begleitbaum (Espenrotkappe).
