Ein Technikdetail meisterhaft in Szene gesetzt. Dem Hauptmotiv, der Klammer mit den Schraubköpfen und der Mutter, stiehlt das Nebenmotiv, das glizernde Blatt, ziemlich die Schau.Das Bild ist minimalistisch, weil es eigentlich nur Brauntöne enthält. Aber die sind wohltuend. Man riecht förmlich das Öl auf der Schwelle.
