When I was in art school, bought my first car for $100. Her name was Bertha and she was a 1954 Chevy Bel Air. I drove her for 7 years in San Francisco and finally sold her for $800. The old lady who sold her to me seldom drove , but Bertha did make one trip to Florida, and came back with a baby stuffed alligator (real) in the rear window of the car.
She was a wonderful car, except that I couldn't afford to fix her brakes and in San Francisco, that is a problem that gives you nightmares.

Forgot to mention that Bertha was the same color as this car, but not quite as beautiful. Thanks for the memories.Yasmine Rafii 11/05/2013 19:46
