  As I recall, I passed in parallel moving of them and in a distance of 3 to 4 meters away, I stopped, I adjusted the camera (pre-focused) in the appropriate distance, I stoped in front of them, I composed with distinctiveness, and very fast I took this nice picture without any one of those to undestand what I did...
  Yes, your camera is excellent for street photography. The only you need is some of experiance!

  I will do ... this is very encouraging :-) ... and my "not an English Man not in New York" has been taken with the Fuji ... but I was some meters away ... thanks for the detailed explanation (pre-focussed is the important advice) :-)
