Many decades ago the blackbird was still a shy forest bird, but nowadays he's also found in almost all gardens.
A blackbird is one of our best song birds.
Many consider the blackbird’s song even more beautiful than that of the nightingale…….!
My shot shows an immature(°) blackbird.
Dutch name : Merel
German name : Amsel
Latin name : Turdus merula
(°) : immature is the stage between juvenile and adult.
