The Living Forest (251) : Sycamore
This brightly-colored insect covered with lots of yellow and orange hairs is the caterpillar of a Sycamore, a moth that lives across most of Europe.
Unlike the colourful caterpillar, the Sycamore moth has an inconspicuous pale gray color.

German name : Ahorn-Rindeneule (Raupe)
Latin name : Acronicta aceris (ærugini)
