"Joe Camilleri und The Black Sorrows sind seit Jahrzehnten an der Spitze der australischen Musikszene. Berühmt für ihre hoch energetischen Live-Shows, ihr musikalisches Können und ansteckende raue, rootsy Rhythmen, waren die Black Sorrows ohne Unterbrechung aktiv mit Recordings und Auftritten, seit Joe die Band 1984 gründete. Kein musikalischer Stil wurde ausgelassen, sei es Gospel oder Sweet Soul, Blues, Country oder Rock’n’Roll".
