Texas Wildflowers | primrose |

Texas, especially the Hill Country, is famous for its abundant wildflowers.
End of March to April the meadows and parks are covered with blankets of vivid colors, produced by different sorts of blossoms.

This picture was taken in Allen, TX in April 2011.

Wundervoll....
Inzwischen habe ich im weather channel aber von einer langen regenlosen Zeit in Texas gehört.
Diese Primroseblümchen habe ich auch in den Restpräriebeständen in South Dakota erlebt.
Gut finde ich auch immer Deine exakten Bestimmtexte zu den Bildern,

Normalerweise verbinde ich mit Texas weder das kräftige Grün noch diese zarten und wunderhübschen kleinen Blümchen. Du hast also zwar nicht gerade mein Weltbild ins Schwanken gebracht, doch meine falsche Vorstellung etwas korrigiert :-)
