Tavira, its fish Harbour and the Gilão river

Tavira (Algarve / Portugal) is one of the most beautiful cities from Algarve. It´s my opinion :))

Hi Aguinaldo,

nice, that you reposted this beautiful picture in a bigger size. It's worth it, cause it shows this beautiful city nicely at the blue hour.
The only critique I have is, that you should have sharpened it a little bit. It seems, that it got a bit unsharp by resizing it for the web.

BTW ... I will never forget this nice city, because in 1982 I nearly died there. The waves were very high at the small island in front of the coast and I nearly drowned. I only survived, because I was a very good swimmer and used a trick: When the wave came I used my body like a surfboard and when the dead water came I swam like hell :-) This way I needed about 30 minutes to overcome a distance of about 300 meters and get back to the beach.
