In 2014, the 70th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy will be commemorated by many Allied Heads of State and hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world from June through till the end of August.The majority of Allied troops who landed on the D-Day beaches were from the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA. Allied Troops from many other countries participated in D-Day June 6,1944 and the Battle of Normandy, in all the different armed services: Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Poland.Over 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded or went missing during the Battle of Normandy.

We will remember them.

Dieses jahr ist Tanks in Town leider abgesagt.
die Gemeinde Mons hat keine Genemigung gegeben.
:-(
die Verhandelungen für 2013 laufen schon.
Es währe schade wenn.

Hallo Thom
Der beste Platz ist auf einem Tank, ist aber sehr schwierig , wenn mann keinen Besitzer kennt.
Ansonsten gibt es die Möglichkeit am Samstag auf dem Motokross Gelände schöne Photos zu Machen.
Sonntags entlang der Strecke, oder mit einem grossen Zoom auf der Schlachtfeldvorführung.
zum Abschluss auf dem Hauptplatz in Mons muss mann früh am Nachmittag da sein um einen guten Platz bei dem Eingang zu ergattern.
Ich hoffe es hilft dir den richtigen Platz zu finde.

Hab davon gehört und will es mir Ende August ansehen. Hast du eine Idee, wo man am besten fotografieren kann? Viele Grüße, Thom
