Sun-Dappled Serenity in Golden Hour - A Meadowlark Moment

The low angle of the late afternoon sun casts long shadows from trees along a walking path
at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. The photo, taken on a May afternoon
a few years ago makes its first appearance today.

An early 1970's vintage Asahi-Pentax SMC Takumar 28mm f/3.5 M42 lens, which I'd fondly remembered
from my early years in film photography, and had recently re-acquired, was used to capture the scene
(stopped down to a small aperture for the sunburst), via adapter, on my Canon 5D Mk IV.

Thanks for the lovely comment, Adele !
I've enjoyed lots of shooting at Meadowlark, but I think this was the first time I managed to catch a sun-star. Always, such a therapeutic spot to visit, especially in golden hours.
Hope all is well with you and that you're enjoying some lovely light in Vancouver for your photography, preferably undimmed by any remaining forest fires.
      All best,
      Steve
