@ManfredThere are many ways to take a 360x360 view of a scenery. The wider the angle, the less shots are required. For instance, a 15mm requires 6 shots to cover the scene and a 16mm 8shots. A 24mm 12 shots and so on. The stitching process becomes more tedious with a great number of shots.
Also for indoor scenes with great exposure range, HDRI is almost mandatory. The minimum for HDRI is three different EV per shot.
Now do the math; 6 x 3 = 18 shots to cover the scenery in HDRI. And it's the minimum, as I explained before.
To make a long story short; the fisheye speeds the whole process.

indeed the foto is interesting.but i cannot unterstand your way of working. may be that i am a very simple man. i mean in my position i had tried it not with a fish-eye.
