Grytviken ist eine mittlerweile verlassene Walfangstation auf der Insel Südgeorgien. Die Siedlung war früher Hauptort des britischen Überseegebietes Südgeorgien und der südlichen Sandwichinseln. Eine geringe Anzahl Bewohner lebt im nahegelegenen Stützpunkt King Edward Point. (Wikipedia)
