Nel Medioevo lasciarsi dietro la Porta degli Svevi era una vera e propria avventura: boschi, strade sconosciute ed il costante timore di essere assaliti da briganti rendevano insicuri commercianti e viaggiatori.
Dal XVII secolo un commerciante di sale orna insieme al suo carro il lato della porta che dà sulla città.

dove è che non lo vedo ? si pagava una tasse sul sale ....l unico modo per conservare gli alimenti ! interessante contrasto tra porta e tram! bravo cl
