Scarlet Rumpled Tanager
This female Scarlet rumpled Tanager was aiming at the spider in the background. But the web of the spider is so strong and thick that she got caught in it at the first try and almost didn't get out. But in the second attempt she caught the spider and ate it. The male sat on the other side and watched how his darling provides breakfast.

Very interesting observation! Bird in spider net is a daily risk, but the other way round is also new for me. Getting a female Trichonephila clavipes is indeed a very nice and heavy breakfast :-)
