San Giovanni Battista («Hl. Johannes der Täufer») ist ein modernes römisch-katholisches Kirchengebäude in dem kleinen Bergdorf Mogno, Gemeinde Lavizzara, im Schweizer Kanton Tessin. Die Kirche wurde von Mario Botta entworfen und in den Jahren 1992–1996 erbaut.

Die Botta Kapelle, von den Einheimischen zunächst als Huf des Teufels bezeichnet, bietet sie dem Fotografen unendliche Möglichkeiten. Meist sind die Detailaufnahmen die einfacheren. Ein Gesamtbild der vielen Strukturen auf einem Bild zu fassen ist nicht ganz so einfach, aber hier sehr gut gelungen.LG
