Reflection's On Barb Wire

The Lonely Tree

The sun died down in early October
, for winds to sweep the moors and dales
With change of mind it swirls to find
, a place for itself in winter
Spiralling leaf's from a swaying tree
, so grey within the mist and rain
Gripping the earth with all it's might
, as it twists and turns in obstinate pain
Lost and alone in winters grip
, with silent strength it stands it's ground
Surrounded and battered by all unsound
, relentless, relentless, to find it's summer
