Pretty in pink 1
Onopordum acanthium oder Eselsdistel aus der Familie der Kornblütler.
Gesehen am Wegesrand, wird imposante 1,5 Meter hoch oder noch höher.
Erstaunlicherweise hat diese Pflanze eine recht unauffällige Blätterfarbe. Wie der Name schon sagt, Esel, gehen die Blätter leicht ins gräuliche.
Das starke Pink der Blüte sticht wie die Stacheln selbst (besser nicht sprichwörtlich) ins Auge.
