Phacelis im Abendlicht
In den Weinbergen der Pfalz werden mancherorts Phacelia zur Gründüngung angepflanzt, besonders Bienen freut dies. Phacelia werden auch Bienenfreund oder Bienenweide genannt, auch Hummeln und Schmetterlinge fliegen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes auf die Phacelia.
