Palestinian Tribal Dress
Display was part of an Indigenous Palestinian tribal cultural project attempting to preserve Palestinian culture under seige. This cultural education project had to operate in secret or be shut down by the European colonialists. This scenario is not new, having been experienced by Indigenous Americans, Indigenous South Africans, and Indigenous Australians, all of whom have experienced parallel cultural and physical genocide. The stories are almost identical.
