at the Sakura Japanese Blossom Festival a couple of weeks ago ...
Sorry about the cut-off foot - I got too close, tried to avoid all the "stuff" and people's feet that were close to her :-)))

Das erinnert mich jetzt wieder ganz stark an meine Mutter, sie hat so gerne und gut gemalt. Ich liebte ihre Kreativität. Leider ist sie 2010 von uns gegangen.

Da haben wir es einfacher mit unserer Kamera, dafür ist die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Motiv sicher intensiver als bei unseren Fotos aber Freude bei unserem Hobby empfinden wir sicher beide der Maler und der Fotograf.

she obviously likes orangy red with just a tinge of pastel peach in it! it's in her shirt, her shoes and even in the "shade of pink" she applies to the "weeping waterfalls" of her picture! and i don't mind the cut-off foot either – all the concentration and intensity of the moment are in the hand that moves the paintbrush! ; ) hugs, sabine.

The cut-off foot doesn't matter at all - also part of the head/hair is cut off and it doesn't matter either...
The scene is important - and that is very nice.

Oh, sie hat sicher sehr viel Freude an der Arbeit und Du hattest ein ganz besonderes Motiv!!! Es muss ja schon sehr warm gewesen sein, wenn sie so auf der Erde sitzt!
