How to do New York City in a day:
Get a Metro ticket to Manhattan, get out somewhere around Times Sqare, following the walk to the Empire State Building by passing the NYC Public Library ("The day after tomorrow"), take the lift to the 86th floor, enjoy the outlook. Then enter the Metro again to Battery Park, take the ferry to Staten Island, passing the Statue of Liberty. After returning walk through Battery Park for a visit of the Museum of Jewish Heritage. Take another walk to "Ground Zero". Enter the Metro again, return to Times Square for the Hard Rock Cafe (trashy food, but popular cool). Next station is Central Park. Take a walk through this beautiful park and watch the huge goldfishes swimming in "The Pond".
Take the Metro back to the hotel and fall asleep in a microsecond.

Das ist eine ganz schöne Hetzerei - ich lasse mir da sehr viel mehr Zeit für Manhatten :-))Ab Montag wird meine amerikanische Enkeltocher (Westküste) zum ersten Mal in New York City sein und ich bin schon gespannt, wie es ihr dort gefällt.
Dein Foto gefällt mir schon durch die von Dir gewählte Perspektive, da ich in Frankfurt auch gern so fotografiere.
