You certainly have blown out the highlights in this image and I assume that was your intent.
This does add a different visual interpretation to the scene. I would suggest that you consider boosting the contrast by darkening the shadows (what there are) a bit. IMO, this would add some dimension to the image.

not bad... lots of feeling in it. however maybe with a little bit less of light.
