Nabucco Island in Maratua
Starting point for many amazing dives in Kalimantan at the Maratua archipelago.
A small island called after the opera from Verdi. The original name of the island was Pulau Pabahanan.
A German owner of the island was calling it "Nabucco" because the Indonesian name Pabahanan was hard to get in mind. Nabucco island now is written in all international sea maps.

Für uns Sporttaucher wirklich ein wahres Paradies. Die Anreise ist ein wenig kompliziert, das aber macht die Insel zum Ziel von Individualtouristen und vermindert einen Ansturm. Meinen Aufenthalt hatte ich an Ort und Stelle gleich verlängert. Gruß WolfgangW. Franke 15/09/2019 9:44
