Mustang - No.1
A sharp looking example of the legendary North American P-51 Mustang World War Two-era fighter gleams in the sunshine of a perfect autumn afternoon as it performs as part of Air Expo 2016 at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in southern Maryland.
The high-speed (for its time) and highly maneuverable plane was one of many types of aircraft, from propeller-driven trainers to the 1,500 mph F-22 Raptor which performed thrilling aerial maneuvers over Pax River this weekend.
