    Wonderful Image - Well done

    "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky"

On July 20, 1969, commander of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module, Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon. Just before he re-entered the lander, he made the enigmatic remark:

    "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky."

In 1938 when he was a kid in a small Midwest town, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard. His friend hit a fly ball, which landed in his neighbor’s yard by the bedroom windows. His neighbors were Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky.

As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky. "Sex! You want sex?! You’ll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"

    Coole true Story

    Best regards

And yes I had no tripod with me. Set the camera on car roof.

Many thanks for your technical knowledge sharing with me. I learnt a good lesson and try to keep in account next time. Thanks a lot

Pity it's a little blurred due to the long shutter! Did you use a tripod? If so, did you turn off IS? You should, because otherwise it will drift.

Also, what you should take into account is the movement of the moon itself, if you look at it through your 300mm, you can really see it move!

On days like saturday (and in general every bright evening), the moon is bright enough to shoot at 1/300 s, 300mm, f5.6 or so. You don't need f16 to get the moon sharp, because it's so far away and there are no other objects in the photo!

This way, you'll really get a sharp moon with nice visibility of the crates!

Oh yeah, and one more thing...the moon is not yellow or brown...it reflects sunlight which is perfectly white. You should try a much colder white balance to get realistic colors!

Kind regards and all the best!

    Thijs.
